What you need

  • A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
  • A Google account for Google Calendar, Google Tasks and Gmail, if you use them.
  • Apple Reminders works through macOS, with your permission.
  • For the optional AI features: Claude Code, the Codex app or CLI, or an API key from your AI provider.

Installing a beta build

Beta builds aren't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the first time you open DayBoard. It takes a minute, and you only do it once per install.

  1. Open the .dmg from your invite email and drag DayBoard into your Applications folder.
  2. Open DayBoard. macOS says it can't verify the app and doesn't open it. Close that message. Don't move DayBoard to the Trash.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security. Under Security, click Open Anyway next to DayBoard.
  4. Confirm with your password or Touch ID. DayBoard opens, and macOS won't ask again.
  5. To connect Google, go to Settings → Sources and click Sign in with Google. DayBoard isn't verified by Google yet, so Google shows "Google hasn't verified this app". Click Continue to allow access.

During the beta, Google only lets invited accounts sign in to DayBoard, so sign up with the address of the Google account you'll connect. Your Google sign-in also expires after 7 days while DayBoard is in beta, so you'll sign in again every week.

Only install DayBoard from the link in your invite email or from this site. Notarized builds, which open without these steps, are on the way.

Your email

We use your email only to send beta invites and major beta news. It's stored by DayBoard's own signup service and never sold or shared. To be removed at any time, email the DayBoard team. Details are in the privacy policy.
