How do I get the beta?
Join the beta list. When your invite is ready, you'll get an email with a link to download the DayBoard installer.
macOS won't open DayBoard. What do I do?
Beta builds aren't notarized yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the first launch. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to DayBoard. The install steps walk through it.
Which Macs are supported?
Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Intel Macs aren't supported yet.
Do I need all four services?
No. Turn on only the sources you use in Settings → Sources. Google services need a Google sign-in, and Apple Reminders asks for macOS permission.
Does DayBoard require an AI account?
No. AI is optional and off until you choose a provider. If you turn it on, only the context each request needs is sent to that provider.
Is my data sent to DayBoard?
No. DayBoard talks directly to Google and to Apple Reminders on your Mac. There's no DayBoard server that sees your calendar, tasks, reminders or mail. See where your data goes.
Will DayBoard stay free?
The beta is free. After launch, the signed official build will be a paid download that funds development. The source stays open under GPL-3.0, so you can always build it yourself.
How do I leave the beta list?
Email the DayBoard team and we'll delete your address. See the privacy policy for what we store.
